Description

  1. Send a re-INVITE to take each call off hold and set the is-focus attribute of the Contact header
  2. SUBSCRIBE to the conference event package when receiving a re-INVITE with isfocus true

Where do we send the Subscribe? The remote party From Header, Contact Address, GRUU or something else?

Auto SUBSCRIBE event=conference when Contact header of remote party is focus

Implement the following specifications:

  • RFC 4353
  • RFC 4575
  • RFC 4579

In order to Subscribe to conference event package on a SIP UA that acts like a focus, the focus SIP UA must put in the Contact header of the request or response the isfocus parameter and as contact a Globally Routable User Agent URIs that must be obtained from its SIP registrar according to RFC 5627.
